Michael G Michael G is a verteran radio announcer and a music aficionado. A Springfield native, he has a communications degree from UIS. Early musical influences include: Sly & the Family Stone, James Brown, Chicago, B.B. King, and Cannonball Adderly. He also worked in the Springfield music scene with Magnum Force in the '80s and co-founded the Debbie Ross Band. Blues Power listeners will get a "strong dose" of Modern Electric Blues, Chicago Blues, Memphis Blues, and British Blues, along with artist profiles, CD reviews, plus concert and festival information. |
