Jammin' 1 My name is John Forslund, better known as that unique individual, Jammin' 1. Growing up in Minnesota, I always listened to the countdowns on the radio, and my musical tastes developed from country to pop to hip-hop. If there is a twelve step program for my addiction to music, maybe I could be cured! I started my rap and hip-hop collection about 7 years after the start of the rap revolution, and added funk and disco as I discovered that they were the basis for many rap songs. I also write rap lyrics, have performed my material live a few times and hope to make it big one day.
